I HAVE DEVELOPED A PROVEN APPROACH TO RECAPTURE YOUR BEST SELF
There are times when a chronic health condition creates mental health issues. Maureen has had two years of active observation and work. She did this practicum work and observations at two of the RIC (Rehab Institute of Chicago) satellites. Elk Grove Village and Willowbrook. These opportunities make the health and wellness and mind body growth factor a very real and positive approach for this office. At this location, therapists have worked with patients with chronic conditions: multiple sclerosis, crone’s disease, various cancers, diabetes and several immune diseases. Maureen, specifically, has worked with young people at schools when they have had Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Sickle Cell Anemia, in addition to the prior listed illnesses. An honest and positive approach to disease has helped many patients lead more fulfilling lives and reduced their physical symptoms.
